About Our Founder
Meet Deepak Chhatwal, the driving force behind DCLA. With an unyielding passion for tailoring excellence, Deepak embarked on a globe-trotting journey spanning continents, from bustling cities like Houston, Philadelphia, and New York, to design hubs like Milan, the hills of Biella, and the lakeside mills around Como.
His quest led to the discovery of the most exquisite fabrics, meticulously crafted by artisans. Deepak's dedication to the highest quality workmanship and value is evident in every garment, ensuring you experience unparalleled comfort and an elegant, flattering silhouette like never before.
OUR FABRICS
Exceptional, Crafted Worldwide
We exclusively source our fabrics from the world's most esteemed mills. From Loro Piana in Quarona, Italy, known for its unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, to Ermenegildo Zegna's fine fabrications in Biella, nestled at the Italian Alps' foothills.
Our selection also includes Dormeuil, renowned for its perfect fusion of quality and creativity, utilizing the finest English worsted from Huddersfield and Leeds, as well as Vitale Barberis Canonico, an Italian fabric mill, established in 1663 is located in Pratrivero, about 50 miles northeast of Turin in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy.
The company has remained a family-owned business for 13 generations – where using the most sophisticated looms, precious fibers of fine wool, silk, and cashmere are woven into the most exquisite, buttery soft, and light weight woolen cloths.
E.Thomas is an Italian fabric mill established in Brusimpiano in 1922 by Ernesto Thomas. The mill located on the enchanting side of the Italian shore of Lake Lugano produces world-class top-quality fabrics, including a range of precious blends combining wool with silk, Chinese and Mongolian cashmere, mohair, and linen with unique features.
